On a 2 1/2 inch (6.35 cm) red square, a shield barry wavy of six, white and blue, with a 1/32 inch (.08 cm) white edge, 1 5/8 inches (4.13 cm) in width and 1 5/8 inches (4.13 cm) in length.
Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 29 January 1945.
